Description (Last modified by nikki)

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1365007&group_id=19506&atid=119506

When I tagged the Weezer album, Weezer: Deluxe Edition (Blue) (disc 2: Dusty Gems and Raw Nuggets) (yes, quite long album title I think), the files were renamed as ....(see attachment).

When I used Tag&Rename, as well as WMP10 to read the actual album ID3 tag, it looked fine. So I dont know what caused this strange output.

Here's some of my options: File format rename: %artist\%album\%artist - %album - %0num - %track Various Artist naming convention: Various Artists\% album\%album - %0num - %artist - %track (shouldn't apply here) Allowed filename characters, blank/none/cleared

I do have it set to write ID3v1 tags as well (checked) in the Tags tab, and Clear existing tags before writing is unchecked.

If you need any other tips, feel free to ask, hope this helps.

Here's the occurance again, and after counting the characters in the filename, there are 66 characters, with the normal character, and then 70 with the .mp3:

So I guess the tagger cuts off filenames after 70 characters? But the default Windows file length I thought was around 225 or something.

I've attached the result of the tagger renaming the files.
